SHATTERED DIVIDE is an online open world survival game, coming to Steam Early Access. Here is what it is, who is making it, and how to follow along.
Hello, and welcome to the first post on the official SHATTERED DIVIDE site.
SHATTERED DIVIDE is an online open world survival game set in a stylised, post-apocalyptic world that broke along a line nobody saw coming. Something came through the cracks. Now a corruption is spreading across the land, and the people who are left have to scavenge, build and fight to survive it.
What is it?
At its core, SHATTERED DIVIDE is about survival that feels earned:
- Survive hunger, thirst, temperature, radiation and infection.
- Fight zombies, mutated enemies and bosses in corruption zones and rift events.
- Gear up with weapons you modify, maintain and repair.
- Scavenge, craft and build a base worth defending.
- Explore by vehicle, take on quests and contracts, and hunt for collectables.
- Play together in online co-op, with a companion dog at your side.
Who is making it?
Fifth Element Studio is a small independent studio based in the United Kingdom. SHATTERED DIVIDE is our first game, built in Unreal Engine 5 with a low-poly, stylised look.
How can you help?
For a small studio, the most useful thing you can do right now is wishlist the game on Steam. Wishlists tell Steam that people are interested, which helps the game get seen at launch. You can also join the mailing list on this site to hear about the Early Access date first.
